Instructions
- In a 4 inch skillet or Teflon pan, pour 1/3 cup sugar and cook on low heat until lightly golden in color, remove from heat.
- Immediately add 2 tbsp of butter and gently place sliced apples into an overlapping wreath.
- Place one puff pastry ring on top and tuck the sides in around the edges with a small spoon.
- Place the pan onto a sheet pan and bake in a 350° oven for about 25 minutes or until the dough is a nice golden brown.
- Repeat process for other three tarts.
- While tarts are baking, whisk cream in a mixing bowl until it forms a soft peak, add mascarpone and honey and whisk until firm.
- Remove tarts from oven and let cool at room temperature for 5 minutes.
- Invert tart pan carefully over plate and serve a dollop of cream with it.
